Jerusalem, 27 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Police cleared for publication the name of a suspect in an online sex crimes case involving minors: Fadi Azar, a resident of central Israel in his 40s.
According to suspicions, between 2022 and 2025, Azar impersonated a 16-year-old using a photograph of another minor on TikTok and Instagram, establishing contact with girls aged 11 to 15 and committing online sex offenses against them.
As part of the investigation by Unit 105 in Lahav (Blade) 433 investigation unit (Israel’s version of the FBI), more than 20 minor victims harmed by the suspect have been located and identified to date.
Police urged anyone who was harmed by or had contact with the suspect or the profiles he used to contact Center 105.
