Jerusalem, 21 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Over 42,000 students from Israel’s northern and southern communities have already registered for the new “Realistic Israel” summer preparatory program for middle school students in artificial intelligence, STEM, and English. The program will operate this year in 215 municipalities across the country, and has already enrolled over 66,000 students.
The “Realistic Israel” summer preparatory program combines academic reinforcement in core subjects alongside the acquisition of artificial intelligence competencies, practical workshops with leading companies, meetings with industry executives, educational tours, and social and ethical content. The program includes eight days of activity, five hours each day, and allows each student to experiment with an advanced technological system to acquire artificial intelligence competencies.
In light of the high enrollment and response data, the Minister of Education announced that he intends to continue operating the “Realistic Israel” summer preparatory school in the coming years, as part of the effort to expand accessibility to artificial intelligence, STEM, and English content and to strengthen the educational continuum even during the summer vacation.
