Jerusalem, 16 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that the Israel Air Force Friday afternoon in an airstrike attacked and destroyed the terrorist infrastructure of the Houthi terrorist regime in the ports of Hodeidah and Al-Salif in Yemen.

These ports are used for the transfer of weapons and are another example of the cynical use and exploitation that the Houthi terrorist regime makes of civilian infrastructure in order to promote terrorism, explained the IDF.

About 15 aircraft participated in the attack and more than 35 munitions were dropped on the targets.

The IDF estimates it will take the Houthis about a month to repair the damage to the two ports that were attacked, their productivity will decrease significantly.

The attacks were carried out after numerous prior warnings by the IDF to minimize possible harm to the civilian population in the area of these sites, and the prevention of any hostile activity from the ports will continue.

“These attacks were carried out against the aggression of the Houthi terrorist regime, and join the IDF attacks last week on the main airport in Sana’a, as well as previous attacks carried out on these ports, in order to deepen the damage to the terrorist capabilities of the Houthis,” stated the IDF.

The Houthi terrorist regime has been operating aggressively for the past year and a half, with Iranian guidance and funding, in order to harm Israel and its allies, undermine regional order, and disrupt global freedom of navigation.
