Detectives initiated a pursuit, firing shots, after the suspect who fled the scene. At its conclusion, they arrested him and identified him as the suspect in the double murder case in the Golan Heights. During a search of the suspect’s motorcycle, believed to be stolen, a Glock pistol was seized. A second suspect was also arrested in a separate operation at the location in an operational vehicle. The Commissioner, Police Commissioner Danny Levi: “The operation by detectives from the Northern District’s Central Unit and officers from the Coastal District is an exemplary display of determination, courage, and pursuit of contact.” Commander of the Northern District, Superintendent Meir Eliyahu: “Our message is clear – we will go anywhere and use all the tools at our disposal to restore security to the streets.”
